A life of Engineering

Engineering is something that has always fascinated me, but not bridges and skyscrapers, but all things engineering like Heavy duty trailers and Rollback trucks. There is so much that engineering entails, think about it, Super cars, roads, buildings, bridges, cars, planes and so much more is a result of the marvel of engineering.

Have you ever turned on the TV and flipped to the Discovery channel, Mega movers, Mega Machines, How it’s made? And so much more are great shows that involve engineering. I mean Just watching mega movers, just think how on earth do they pick up an entire building and move it to a new location…..I’ll tell you how it is the wonder of engineering. They load up the building in those massive heavy duty trailers and travel sometimes across the country; all of this takes immense calculations and composure from the engineering team. Imagine how many shows on Discovery would not be possible without these marvels; let alone how we would live everyday life.

Engineering is not a new thing, no no, Engineering has been a practice since the days of Rome, with the designs of the best roads in the world at the time and the constructions of Marvels that still wow us today like the Colosseum. Engineers have always been a prized asset of society and have created things that some people could only dream up.

IT, electrical, Mechanical, Civil, chemical, aeronautical and more these are the names that go hand in hand with Engineering creating the world’s wonders.

The World Cup in Qatar has shown examples of the possible stadiums that could be built and they really do appear to be extraordinary. With the Heat in Qatar there is the possibility that the stadium and the immediate area will be created indoors, just take a look here, it really is breathe taking. The Designs in Dubai are a testament to engineers everywhere, not only all the construction, but the islands that are being built there, would make our ancestors roll over in their graves if they knew what was possible now. Underwater restaurants, indoor ski rings in the desert, 7 star hotels, the world is an engineer’s oyster in the oil rich Middle East.

All in all the world of engineering is amazing, it of course doesn’t hurt that they are some of the world’s most well paid individuals. So if you have a passion for this stuff like I do I would advise that you do it.
